I guess my question is, are trailers and other publicity materials another site with the cinematographer's work can be manipulated by others? I can imagine a trailer editor sitting at his avid and deciding that a particular shot is too dark or could benefit from "strobe" like flashes or might look cooler with an image filter, etc.
